British career history: Coventry (2001-04), Peterborough (Mar-May 2005), Coventry (May 2005-present).
BILLY first came to Brandon in 2001, which makes him easily the longest-serving member of the current squad.
His only time away from Coventry was in a short spell with Peterborough three years ago, but he was quickly re-called by his parent club and played a big part in the Elite League success of 2005.
Billy is regarded as one of the best team men in the sport, always being available to help his team-mates and during his time with the club he has formed very strong on-track partnerships with Scott Nicholls and Billy Hamill in particular.
A regular member of the American national squad, Billy has also ridden in World Cup meetings for his country.
The undisputed bonus points king, not only of Covenry but of British speedway as a whole - and only John Jorgensen, who had total of 14 seasons with the Bees, has scored more bonuses for the club!
His high number of bonus points actually saw him drop to reserve in the second half of the 2007 season, where he scored heavily alongside Steve Johnston. And he was undoubtedly the hero of the dramatic KO Cup triumph against Swindon with a score of paid 16 which included some crucial wins over Leigh Adams and the clinching ride in Heat 14.
With a starting average of just 5.17, there was never any doubt that the Bees would wish to extend his stay at Brandon and his experience and knowledge of the Elite League scene makes him a valuable member of the team.
